Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: A public bus runs from the airport to central Denpasar (journey time: 50 minutes) but its departure times can be infrequent and sporadic (ask at the airport’s information desk for assistance). For this reason most visitors choose to use either a shuttle or taxi service to travel to their destination.

Shuttle: A cheaper alternative to the taxis is an abemo (shared minibus), which can generally be found a short distance from the car park. In addition, many hotels operate courtesy shuttles to and from the airport.

Taxi: Taxis are available outside Arrivals and operate on a pre-paid voucher system. Vouchers are sold at the official taxi desk close to the airport exit. Expect to pay roughly Rp. 80,000 for a journey to Kuta and around Rp. 125,000 to Denpasar. Tickets can be booked online or at the airport. Journey times vary considerably depending on traffic.

There are banks with bureaux de change services and ATMs within the terminals.

Other:

Other facilities available at Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport include a hotel reservation desk, pharmacy, lounges and spa/massage facilities.
