From central Palermo, head towards Trapani for the northbound E90 main road, which follows the coastline and, after merging into the A29, leads directly to the signposted airport access road.

Public transport road:
Bus:The Airport Bus (tel: +39 091 586 351; www.prestiacomande.it) operates from 0400-2230 daily (journey time: 50 minutes; fare: €6.30). Buses also operate from the airport to Trapani, Sciacci, Ribera and Menfi.
Taxi:Taxis (tel: +39 091 6878 or +39 091 8481) are available 0600-0000 from close to the Arrivals area (journey time: 40 minutes; fare: €45).
Public transport rail:
The Trinacria Express rail service (tel: +39 892 021;www.trenitalia.it) runs from the airport into central Palermo (and vice versa). Most trains take about an hour to complete the trip, and the single fare is €5.50. Services run from about 0500-2000 daily. Tickets can be booked from the airport ticket office (tel: +39 091 704 4007).
ATMs are available in the check-in area and in Departures. There is a bank counter on the first floor, and a bureau de change in check-in.
There is a choice of bar and restaurants both airside and landside, including a pizzeria in Departures.
Duty-free is available in Departures. Other outlets include a newsagents, women's fashion store and a confectioner. A shop selling Sicilian crafts and souvenirs is located in the check-in area.
Luggage storage is not available at the airport. A lost property office (tel: +39 091 702 0265), dealing with property misplaced within the terminal, is available at the Terminal Duty Officer room on the terminal's first floor.
Other available facilities at Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport include baby-changing rooms, a pharmacy and a first-aid facility. A baggage wrapping service is also available.
The airport is fully accessible to disabled passengers, with lifts and disabled toilet facilities. Designated disabled parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrance. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.
Both short- and long-term parking is available at the airport, with a free shuttle bus running between the car parks and the terminal. Valet parking is also offered (tel: +39 091 704 4019). A parking Help Desk is situated in the Car Valet area (tel: +39 091 702 0200).
International car hire companies: Avis, Europcar, Goldcar, Hertz, Maggiore and Sixt have representation at the airport, along with several local operators. The car hire centre is a short shuttle ride from the terminal.
