Passports
To enter Kosovo, your passport must be undamaged and valid for the duration of your stay.
Important: If you plan to travel onward to Serbia, you must enter Serbia first or hold a valid Serbian entry stamp issued at a recognised Serbian border point. Serbia does not recognise entry stamps issued by Kosovo and may refuse re-entry from Kosovo.
Visas
EU nationals: Citizens of EU and Schengen countries do not need a visa to enter Kosovo. Stays of up to 90 days within a 6-month period are permitted.
Non-EU nationals: Americans, Australians, British, and Canadians can travel to Kosovo without a visa for tourism purposes. Nationals of other countries should check whether they require a visa by visiting the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs website: https://mfa-ks.net.
Schengen visa holders: Holders of valid multiple-entry Schengen visas (type C or D) may enter Kosovo visa-free for up to 15 days, provided the visa has been used at least once to enter a Schengen country.

Visa fees vary depending on nationality and visa type. Exact fees are set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Travellers should confirm costs at the nearest Kosovo embassy or consulate before applying.

Sufficient Funds
Nationals who require a visa must be able to demonstrate sufficient funds to cover their stay in Kosovo.
