Driving directions:

Warsaw Chopin Airport can be accessed via Zwirki í Wigury Avenue (634), which leads out of central Warsaw to the south. The journey time from the city centre is approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:Bus stops are located immediately in front of the arrivals hall. MZA (tel: +48 19115; www.ztm.waw.pl) buses number 175 and 188 run daily from the airport to central Warsaw, including Warsaw Central Station and the Old Town (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: zł4.40), while a night bus (bus N32) provides a link to the central railway station overnight (2315 to 0449). Long-distance buses connect Warsaw Chopin Airport with other cities in Poland.

Taxi:The taxi rank is located in front of the arrivals hall. A number of operators serve the airport, but it is advised to only use licensed taxis. Companies recommended by the airport include Ele Sky Taxi (tel: +48 22 811 1111; www.eletaxi.pl) and Super Taxi (tel: +48 22 196 22; www.supertaxi.pl). A ride to the city centre costs approximately zł40, and the journey time is up to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public transport rail:

 SKM & RL operate a high-speed train service connecting Warsaw city centre with Warsaw Chopin Airport, with trains running daily from 0500 to 2306, departures approximately every 15 minutes, journey time around 35 minutes, fare z†43.40; (www.ztm.waw.pl/; tel: +4819115).

Money:

There is a bank on the departures level of the airport. Bureaux de change and ATMs are located throughout the terminal.

Food:

There are several restaurants at Warsaw Chopin Airport serving both Polish and international cuisine. Additionally, snack bars and self-service cafés are located both pre- and post-security.

Shopping:

Shops at Warsaw Chopin Airport include newsagents, souvenir retailers and designer outlets. Duty-free shops can be found in the departures area. In addition, a newsagent and convenience store are situated in the railway station.

Luggage:

There is a left-luggage service in the arrivals hall and luggage lockers are available in front of the terminal and in the arrivals area of Terminal A. For items misplaced, or found, within the terminal, a lost luggage service (tel: +48 22 650 2006) is also available.

Other:

Other facilities at Warsaw Chopin Airport include a medical centre, mother and baby rooms and a chapel. A number of travel agencies are also represented in the arrivals area.

Conference and business:

There are no designated meeting or conference facilities available on-site at Warsaw Chopin Airport. To find such services, visitors will have to travel to the nearby Courtyard Warsaw Airport hotel (tel: +48 22 650 0100; www.marriott.com). Other local hotels also offer these services.

There are three executive lounges at Warsaw Chopin Airport, which provide refreshments, newspapers and complimentary Wi-Fi internet access. A VIP lounge is located on the arrivals level.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Warsaw Chopin Airport (up to 30 minutes in the main terminal, and 4 hours in the VIP and Executive Lounges). Public telephones are also available to passengers.

Disabled facilities:

The terminal is wheelchair-accessible and wheelchairs are available on request from a handling agent – trained staff are also on hand to assist passengers unable to access the upper mezzanine level. Other facilities include induction loops for the hearing impaired, which are fitted to certain information desks.

Free parking in dedicated spaces is available for disabled passengers in the car parks directly outside the terminal building.

There are four car parks at Warsaw Chopin Airport: the multistorey short-term car parks P1 and P2 are located next to the terminal building, whilst the short-term P3 car park and the long-term P4 car park are farther from the terminal, next to the Courtyard Warsaw Airport hotel.
