About Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport (LJU)
Also known as Jože Pučnik Airport, or by its previous name, Brnik Airport, Ljubljana Airport serves the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. Our Ljubljana Airport guide includes details on transport options, where to stay nearby and terminal facilities.
In April 2017, plans were announced to expand the existing passenger terminal, which will be opened to the public in time for the 2020 summer season.
The information desk is located in the departures hall. The tourist information centre in Arrivals can assist with information on Ljubljana and Slovenia as a whole.
From Ljubljana, the most convenient access to the airport is by the E61 motorway. From the city, head north on the E61 following signs to Brnik and then the airport.
