About Bern-Belp Airport (BRN)
Despite serving the capital of Switzerland, Bern-Belp Airport is much smaller than its counterparts in cities such as Zürich, Basel and Geneva. Our Bern-Belp Airport guide includes information on facilities, how to get to the airport, and nearby accommodation options.
There is an information/reception desk near check-in (tel: +41 31 960 2111).
To access the airport from central Bern head south along Thunstrasse and follow this road to the Sonnenhoftunnel turn off (A6). Follow this road all the way to junction 14 then turn right onto Viehweidstrasse. From here, turn right onto Kummenstrasse, then take another right onto Aemmenmattstrasse, and follow signs to the airport entrance. The total drive time should take roughly 25 minutes.
The airport is located within Belp’s city limits.
