About Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH)
Doha's new Hamad International Airport, which superseded the old Doha International Airport when it opened in 2014, serves the Gulf state of Qatar. Our Doha Hamad International Airport guide provides airport contact information, as well as details on transport to and from the airport, terminal facilities and accommodation options nearby.
Plans for a second terminal, to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition being held in the country, have been announced, although no official start date for construction has yet been released.
Information desks are situated outside Arrivals and immediately inside the entrance on Departures Level 2.
The airport is clearly signposted from central Qatar. Follow Al Corniche Street east then turn left on to Ras Abu Abboud Street. After about 5km (3 miles) turn left at the roundabout on to the F Ring Road, which leads directly to the terminal entrance.
