To visit Afghanistan, a passport valid for at least six months is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas are required by all visitors to Afghanistan referred to in the chart above, except travellers holding a re-entry permit issued by Afghanistan.
Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart above are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements.
Single-entry for up to one month: £61. Single-entry for up to three months: £85. Single-entry for up to six months: £110. Prices can change at short notice, and enquiries should be made at the embassy for details about visiting Afghanistan.

All non-diplomat applications to visit Afghanistan need to be made in person; processing time takes up to five days as standard, with an express service of one or two days.
