Visas for Belarus vary depending on the visitor's nationality. The main visa categories are: tourist visa (single- and double-entry); short term private visit (single-, double- and multiple-entry); long term private visit visa (90 days within a year); and commercial visit visa. For prices, contact your nearest embassy or high commission.

A tourist visa for Belarus is generally valid for 30 days; a longterm or business visa is typically valid for 90 days.

In exceptional cases, such as illness or death of a Belarusian relative, visas can be obtained at Minsk-2 International Airport; this is provided that the traveller is met at the airport by their official sponsor with the original letter of invitation or tourist vouchers. In this case, the fee may be higher.
