A passport with three blank pages and valid for six months beyond date of departure is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above to enter Djibouti.
Visas are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above, except transit passengers not disembarking and continuing their journey by the same aircraft or ship. Short stay (one month) tourist visas for EU nationals can be obtained on arrival at the airport.
Entry, tourist,business and transit visas all cost around £60.
Visas from the French embassy in Paris are valid for between one and 10 days; visas can be extended once in Djibouti.

A 10-day transit visa can be issued at the point of entry to visitors holding confirmed return air tickets. A fee will be charged.
Visas for Djibouti should take three working days to process, but the embassy advises getting a visa at least one month in advance of travel to Djibouti.
