To enter Dominica, a passport valid for six months is required by nationals referred to in the chart above, except:
(a) nationals of Canada (1) holding proof of citizenship bearing a photograph and return or onward tickets
(b) nationals of France (2) holding National Identity Cards, for stays of up to two weeks
Visas for Dominica are not required by the nationals referred to in the chart above for the following durations:
(a) Citizens of the Commonwealth and the USA (3) for a up to six months
(b) Nationals of Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden (4) for up to three months, providing they have a return ticket, and satisfy the immigration officer that they do not wish to stay for longer. For an extension, visitors are required to be interviewed by the Inspector-in-Charge of immigration
(c) Transit passengers providing they hold return/onward tickets
