El Salvador: visa and passport requirements

To enter El Salvador, a passport valid for at least six months is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for stays of up to 90 days, except:
1. Nationals of Canada, Greece, Portugal and the USA must buy a tourist card for US$10, valid for 30 days, on entry.
Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for El Salvador.
All nationals referred to in the chart must apply for a multiple-entry visa in advance, if stay exceeds 90 days.
