Georgia: Visa and Passport Requirements

To enter Georgia, a passport valid for at least six months is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above, except (1) EU nationals, who may enter with a national ID card.
Visas are not required by all nationals referred to in the chart above for stays in Georgia of up to 360 days.
Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Georgia.
Types and cost:
Single- or multiple-entry transit visa; single-entry ordinary visa, multiple-entry ordinary visa (90 or 360 days): all US$50 in advance.
Visas bought at the border: single-entry transit visa: GEL10; multiple-entry transit visa: GEL20; single-entry ordinary visa: GEL50; multiple-entry ordinary visa (90 days): GEL60; multiple-entry ordinary visa (360 days): GEL100.
Single-entry visas: 90 days; multiple-entry visas: 90 or 360 days.
Consulate (or consular section at embassy).
Nationals of countries where there is no Georgian diplomatic representation may obtain visas on arrival.
Visa processing time is usually seven days.
Extension of stay:
Foreign nationals wishing to stay longer in the country must apply to the nearest Civil Registry Agency office.
