All visitors to Kiribati must possess a valid passport and onward ticket, and must have proof of sufficient funds to support themselves while staying in the country.
Nationals referred to in the chart above are not required to obtain a visa before arriving in Kiribati.
Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Kiribati.
Tourist and business visas: A$40 (£25) (single-entry); A$70 ($45) (multiple-entry).
Visas for Kiribati are valid for 20 days to four months, depending on nationality; enquire at nearest consulate (or consular section at embassy or high commission).
Extensions may be granted on application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs once in Kiribati.

The honorary consulate in the UK can issue visas on the same day (appointment only), or in one week if an arrangement is made to meet a representative in London.
