Martinique Visa and Passport Requirements

A passport valid for the duration of stay in Martinique is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above, except nationals of Australia, Canada and the USA whose passport must be valid for three months following departure.
1. EU nationals may also enter with a national ID card, but check with your airline first, as you may need a passport to board the flight.
Visas are not required by all nationals referred to in the chart above for stays in Martinique of up to three months.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the nearest French embassy to check entry requirements for Martinique.
Short-stay/Schengen visa: 90 days within a six-month period; long-stay visa: valid for stays of over three months.

Nationals who do require a visa can only enter Martinique on a Schengen visa if it is marked on the visa sticker; you must advise the consulate that you are planning on visiting Martinique when you apply.
