Senegal Visa and Passport Requirements

To enter Senegal, a passport valid for at least six months after the date of entry is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas for Senegal are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Senegal.
A WHO vaccination card, with current yellow fever and cholera vaccinations, may be required if travelling from an endemic area.

You must pre-enrol online at www.snedai.sn/en but a final visa will not be given until you have been fingerprinted at the nearest embassy. It is also possible to have your fingerprints taken and a visa issued at Dakar Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport if your local embassy doesn't have an on-site biometric enrolment service, but where possible, you are strongly advised to attend an embassy in person.
Allow at least two to four days for visa processing. However, it can take up to several weeks for certain nationalities if the application has to be referred to the authorities in Dakar.
