Senegal Visa and Passport Requirements
|Passport required||Return ticket required||Visa required|
To enter Senegal, a passport valid for the duration of stay is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas for Senegal are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Senegal.
A WHO vaccination card, with current yellow fever and cholera vaccinations, may be required if travelling from an endemic area.
You must pre-enrol and pay the fee online at www.visasenegal.sn. If your local embassy doesn't have an on-site biometric enrolment service, bring the printed confirmation with you to Senegal. Your biometric data will be taken and your visa issued at Dakar Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport or other major border crossings. Note that not all airports or land border crossing points can issue visas, so check with your nearest embassy or the website before you travel.
If your local embassy already has the capability to take biometric data (a list of countries is shown on the application website), you can also attend the embassy to pick up your visa.
Allow at least 24 hours for visa processing, though some applications may take longer.
Frequent travellers may request a multiple-entry 90-day or long-stay visa once they are in Senegal. Contact the Foreigners and Travel Documents Police Department.
