To enter the Seychelles, a passport valid on the date of entry to and exit from the Seychelles is required by nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas for the Seychelles are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above as long as they have:
(a) onward or return ticket (if not, onward or return ticket must be purchased on arrival);
(b) proof of sufficient funds (minimum US$150 per day) and organised accommodation for the duration of the stay.
A visitor's permit, valid initially for one month, is issued on arrival, subject to possession of (a) and (b) as above. It can be extended for a period of up to three months from the date of issue and capable of further extensions for successive periods not exceeding three months at a time to a maximum period of twelve months. The visitor's permit is issued free of charge for the first three months after which there is a fee of approximately £60 for extension covering each period of three months or any part thereof. Passengers in transit must have tickets with reserved seats for their onward journey.
Single parents are sometimes asked for documentation proving their parental responsibility.
