Passports: 

To enter the Seychelles, a passport valid on the date of entry to and exit from the Seychelles is required by nationals referred to in the chart above.

Visas: 

Visas for the Seychelles are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above as long as they have:

(a) onward or return ticket (if not, onward or return ticket must be purchased on arrival);

(b) proof of sufficient funds (minimum US$150 per day) and organised accommodation for the duration of the stay.

A visitor's permit, valid initially for one month, is issued on arrival, subject to possession of (a) and (b) as above. It can be extended for a period of up to three months from the date of issue and capable of further extensions for successive periods not exceeding three months at a time to a maximum period of twelve months. The visitor's permit is issued free of charge for the first three months after which there is a fee of approximately £60 for extension covering each period of three months or any part thereof. Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for the Seychelles.

Transit: 

Passengers in transit must have tickets with reserved seats for their onward journey.

Entry with children: 

Single parents are sometimes asked for documentation proving their parental responsibility.
