Tuvalu: visa and passport requirements

To enter Tuvalu, a passport valid for at least six months at date of arrival is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for stays in Tuvalu of up to 30 days, except the following:
(a) nationals of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia (1) who do require a visa, unless transit passengers continuing their journey on the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours provided holding required travel documents for onward destination and not leaving the airport transit lounge.
(b) nationals of the USA (2), unless the passport is issued by the Marshall Islands.
(a) Entry permits for a maximum one-month stay are issued on arrival providing nationals have a valid passport, sufficient funds, proof of accommodation and a return/onward ticket.
(b) Nationals not referred to in the chart above are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Tuvalu.
Visitor and work permits are issued free of charge.
Visitors are normally permitted to remain in Tuvalu for up to one month, after meeting entry requirements; their visit may then be extended for a maximum of three months.
